Psychological, legal and social worker‘s counseling in Kaunas Women's Society are held:

Attention for unemployed women!
Kaunas Women's Society is implementing the project "reintegration of women experiencing social exclusion and the encouragement of their integration into the labor market", funded by European Union Structural Fund of Lithuanian Social Security and Labor.
We invite women returning after a long break in the labor market, single women, mothers with many children, and women from social risk families for a counseling. The individual counseling of a psychologist and a social worker are available every day in Vilijampolė, Demokratų Str. 3 (Kaunas). Motivation groups are being organized, during which participants will be selected for future trainings for unemployed people.These trainings are expected to be held in September 2009.

Prospective trainings: psychology, computer courses, English language, business communication, preparation for job search, employment law, entrepreneurship and vocational training (options: green supervisors, accountants, florists, nursing assistants) with expected scholarships for learners. The number of available places is limited.
The end of these trainings is estimated in 2012.
Protect young people from entering sexual slavery. What do we know about human trafficking?
Kaunas Women's Society is implementing the project "Development of social services in Kaunas city and Kaunas district: prevention of prostitution and women trafficking, and support for the victims" and has prepared a 1 hour academic lecture about prevention - discussion for girls from 12 to 18 years old on this subject. During the meeting we are going to watch the "Devils wheel” movie, created by the Missing People Families’ Support Center, find out what is human trafficking, why it is taking place, how to protect yourself from it.

Kaunas Women's Society invites 12 to 18 year old girls, who are inquisitive, interested in various activities (painting, crafts, sports, fashion), to have an opportunity for a discussion, to get various advice and tips or the answers to questions often being raised among teens. We also invite young women willing to join the Women's Day Center Group. Classes are held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, at 14.30, Demokratų Str. 3.

if you are of any age (raising or have already raised children, or perhaps just planning to create a family) and you have various questions on family relationships (particularly on the violence), if you lack legal, psychological or social information, if you want to share your experience or simply spend your time usefully, we kindly invite you.
